To make music accessible to the greatest number of people possible, the Ensemble Instrumental Appassionata offers professional concerts in a classical or multidisciplinary format in a sound financial environment. The ensemble is comprised of a core of fifteen stringed instruments to which wind and percussion instruments are sometimes added, and over the past ten years, it has offered a series of concerts with highly diversified programming.
In Montréal, the ensemble’s development plan is based on its roots in the
Villeray/Saint-Michel/Parc-Extension district. With this foothold in the community, the ensemble can expand its influence with the help of partnerships created for the benefit of its two favourite focus groups: young people and the members of cultural communities.
