Contribute to our children’s musical education by supporting Appassionata’s youth program!

Light 50 children’s artistic flame by sponsoring a bus! What an original way to bring a bit of magic into children’s lives. Through its youth program [Musique, Maestro!], Appassionata has met with more than 5,000 elementary school children from disadvantaged neighbourhoods in just four years, thanks to preparatory workshops given in class and an outing to a concert hall. Since 2010, 150 workshops and 17 school performances have been provided free of charge to Montreal schools. In 2013, Appassionata innovated with the creation of a second three-year cycle built around the Peter and the Wolf show, pairing classical music and cinema with the animated film of the same title by Suzie Templeton, winner of an Oscar in 2008. The in-class preparatory workshops will begin in October and more than 1,500 children will see the show at Oscar-Peterson Hall on December 16,  2013.
