“ In 2012-2013, you are invited to visit with Haydn, that luminous star of the classical period, and to enjoy the company of his so-called Morning, Noon and Evening Symphonies. Divided into three concerts forming an unusual programming arc, these works will project you into an era of elegance and humour.
The season unfolds as does a day, from dawn to dusk. There will also be more recent masters on the program, in tune with our times, and wonderful collaborations – think of the Commonwealth Singers (Virginia Commonwealth University) presenting a masterpiece of sacred music. Surely a season to follow closely and the perfect reason to subscribe!“
